Overnight Out Trip

This trip is a great example of how having fun, being challenged, learning, and growing all work together so well. The Counsellors are well aware that for many this is a new experience. As such, they’re constantly working with the Campers to build confidence with the idea of the trip.

Campers are bused back-and-forth on a school bus. Meals are planned together as a group. We ask that you please not send added snacks, nor meals, because that takes away from the opportunity they have here at Camp!

Asking yourself if it’s normal to be a little nervous?
So normal! Your camper might be nervous, you as a parent might be nervous, that’s so normal! New experiences are intimidating. We KNOW that! We’re here to help. We have no doubt your Camper can have a great experience and that there might be some nerves to overcome first – that’s a part of the adventure! We encourage you to chat with them about it and feel free to reach out to us if you want to talk (or visit)!

What to bring

Lunch, snacks, water bottle, sunscreen, bathing suit, and towel should be brought every day. We ask that Campers do not bring any electronics to Camp. This includes for the out trip! If you’re wondering how you might be able to get a hold of your Camper click here.
